Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn't. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever.
These words are the introductory paragraph of the masterful work of John Piper called Let the Nations Be Glad! The Supremacy of God in Missions. As he later goes on to say, "Mission begins and ends in worship" because worship is both the fuel and goal of missions.
At Grace, we are committed to the misssion of God by being the people of God as citizens of two worlds with one message--the gospel of Jesus Christ. The comission we have received from the Lord Jesus is one that no believer is exempt and no people should not benefit from. Indeed, on that great day there will people from every nation, every tongue, and every tribe worshipping Jesus, the Lamb who was slain.
The missional engagement of Grace begins at home here in Southwest Florida and extends with a worldwide outreach. Missions is not a department of our church--it is the church in action, fulfilling our purpose on earth to bring more worshippers to Jesus.

When Jesus asked the question, "Who do you say that I am?" He was asking a question that we all have to answer. As Christians, we have one message to believe and one message to tell--the gospel of Jesus Christ. What God has accomplished for sinners through His Son Jesus Christ in His life, death, and resurrection is not only central to who we are but sufficient for all that we do. If you have never heard of this gospel, we encourage you to consider the two ways to live. In this presentation, you will understand who God is, what He has done, and why it is absolutely necessary for you to turn to Jesus and trust in Him.
When you come to one of our meetings expect to be greeted and welcomed by people just like you.
